New Creative Hub on Twerton’s High Street

Little Lost Robot, an innovative team of creatives have taken over 107 High Street in Twerton. They are running a jam-packed programme of free activities, including animation, creative coding, welding and metalwork.

Little Lost Robot, an innovative team of creatives have taken over 107 High Street in Twerton. They are running a jam-packed programme of free activities, including animation, creative coding, welding and metalwork.

Their aim is to engage people with creative skills and digital technologies and to create fairer opportunities for people limited by socio-economic factors. Their activities also provide free refreshments and a chance for participants to boost their wellbeing and confidence through creative activities.

This project is funded and supported by the West of England Combined Authority, Bath Spa University and Bath and North East Somerset Council.

Scrap to Sculpture: Make and Mend

Creative Welding and Metalwork

Thursday 1 and 8 December, 2022
12:30 – 5pm
Learn basic, creative metalworking techniques and try out welding with Women Teaching Fabrication and make artwork for Twerton High Street.

Opportunity: Artist Residency at 107 High Street, Twerton

Little Lost Robot have four Artist Residency spaces available in the new creative art space on Twerton High Street in Bath.

These are available for artists who have been unable to afford workshop space, due to low income, a break in practice to raise children, or other caring responsibilities. Or those who identify as disabled / deaf / neurodivergent, and have found this to impact their practice. Tell us about any specific support needs and we will endeavour to help you.

Space will be free for 6 months minimum with wraparound arts funding, exhibition / shop space and business development support offered.

They are particularly keen to hear from / support artists from diverse backgrounds and GRT artists.

Closing date is 6pm 10th December
